Abstract

Former Principal Dancer of National Ballet of China First-class Dancer

Graduated from Beijing Dance Academy in 2000, entered the Central Ballet Troupe in the same year, and is currently a teacher at the Central Ballet Troupe Dance School. As a principal dancer of the Central Ballet, she has starred in "The Red Detachment of Women", "Raise the Red Lantern", "The Peony Pavilion", "The Earth’s Aria and Dance", and has played leading roles in "Swan Lake", "New Year", "Fairy", "Giselle", "Tears Fountain", "Sylvia", "Don Quixote", "The Pirates", "Yellow River", "Crane Soul", "Dunhuang", as well as Roland Petit’s "Carmen", "The Young Man and Death", "Pink Floyd Ballet" and "The Bat", John Cranko’s "Romeo and Juliet" and "Onegin", John Neumeier’s "The Little Mermaid", Natalia Makarova’s "The Dancer", and other ballet works. She also starred in William Forsythe’s "How Much is Hanging in the Air", Uwe Scholz’s "Beethoven's Seventh Symphony" and "Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto", Balanchine’s "Serenade", "Who Cares?", "Theme and Variations", "Four Temperaments", as well as "Classical Four Women’s Dance", "The Rite of Spring", "Blessing", "Liang Zhu", "Kazimir's Colors", "Once", "Please Close Your Eyes When It Gets Dark", "Hamlet", "Xianglian·Sailian", and other ballet works.
She starred in a segment of "The Red Detachment of Women" at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 2014, performed "Sleepless Tonight" at the "Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return to the Motherland" cultural gala on June 30, 2017, and starred in "Dunhuang Flying Apsaras" at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 2019.
